Dermalogica Skin Treatments

A lot of clients talk about facials and with Dermalogica we talk about skin treatments and the difference is clear. A facial is something that is indulgent or pampering. A skin treatment is specific to your skin, designed specifically for you by an expert skin therapist and the results are unequaled.

We start with our unique Face Mapping where we analyse the skin in depth and design a treatment that's different every single time because your skin is different every time you come in. You should receive a Dermalogica skin treatment about every 4-6 weeks or as I often like to say, once every epidermis which is your outer layer of skin.

The results your going to see with a Dermalogica skin treatment are unlike anything else in the industry because we exfoliate the skin, we double cleanse the skin, we do extractions, tailor-made customised massage and masque technique. With the products that are unequaled, you're going to see your skin glowing, more luminous, hydrated, quite honestly it's going to be in its optimum condition, the best skin you've ever had.

Skin Fitness Plan - Free of charge

The Skin Fitness Plan takes no more than five to ten minutes, is free, and eliminates the guesswork when selecting products for results on your skin. Rather than analysing the skin in general terms, a Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapist divides the facial landscape into zones. Each zone is thoroughly examined inch-by-inch through touch and sight, and findings are notated on a prescription sheet.

LED Light Therapy -

Add-on to any Dermalogica Skin Treatment

LED – light-emitting diodes – uses coloured wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin. Not to be confused with lasers, which are more potent, LED light therapy is a gentle but effective way to treat your skin. There are different colours of light which treat different concerns, with the most popular being blue for killing bacteria (ideal for adult acne) and red for stimulating collagen, healing and generally giving the skin a health boost.

This is an Add-on only service, starting from 10-20 minutes.

10 minutes - £10

15 minutes - £15

20 minutes - £20

Benefits of LED Light Therapy:

*Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

*Reducing the appearance of scars by deeply penetrating the skin and promoting growth of skin cells.

*Treating acne by fighting off and killing the bacteria under your skin.

*Stimulates healing process by increasing blood flow.

*Repairs sun damage and improves overall skin tone.

Is it safe for the skin?

Not only is it safe for sensitive and reactive skins, but it can have a positive effect on them.

Light therapy is non-damaging and safe for even the most sensitive skin, often helping with issues that arise because of sensitivity. When having treatment before exposure to sunlight, it helps to prevent damage as the newly stimulated cells act as a protective layer.

Does LED Light Therapy hurt?

No – think of it more as if you’re basking in the sun for 10/20 minutes. Your skin gets warm, sure, but nothing painful or even uncomfortable.
